Welcome to Jersey Chiropractic Centre

On your first visit you may be feeling a little anxious. This is completely normal, but let us assure you that there is no need. We are here to help you, not hurt you. We have gone to great lengths to create a relaxed environment and atmosphere for you to enjoy. So please take a seat, read a magasine, help yourself to some water, and watch our educational video to help put your mind at ease.

Consultation & Examination

Every new patient begins with a 'New Patient Consultation', which take approximately 30-45 minutes (depending on the complexity of each case). Before we begin you will be asked to fill in a 'New Patient Form'. This will require you answer several background questions which will help to keep the computer happy and give us some insight into your previous and current medical history. Once complete we will escort you into our examination/treatment rooms where we will undertake a thorough history, and examination (gowns are provided for women). Once we are confident of your condition, and a diagnosis is made, we will give you our 'Report of Findings'. We will do our best to explain to you what the problem is, what treatment is appropriate, and roughly how long it will take. Sometimes an X-Ray is necessary to further identify and/or rule out the presence of any underlying abnormalities, which could affect ones progress and/or how we choose to treat your complaint. Often before treatment is administered advice and gentle stretches are given, which are designed to prepare your body to receive treatment more effectively

On your Second Visit we will review all of the exam findings from todays initial visit.

Adrian & Andrea Asks some important questions of interest to Jersey residents - Chiropractor Jersey Adrian & Andrea Asks...

What's the difference between chiropractic and medicine?
Medical treatment focuses on the disease or the symptom. Chiropractic focuses on the person with the disease or the symptom. Medical treatment usually involves changing blood chemistry. Chiropractic involves restoring nervous system integrity. Medical doctors prescribe medicine. Chiropractors adjust the spine—a common source of nervous system interference.
What's the difference between a "good" drug and a "bad" drug?
As a chiropractor, I see the use of many drugs (legal or illegal) as merely symptom treating. Worse, virtually every drug produces unwanted effects. The effects of chiropractic are largely positive effects. If you're a Jersey parent, consider carefully before giving your child a cough medication, cold remedy or pain reliever so this sort of question doesn't arise in the first place.
